Renault, the company that competes with Maruti Ertiga in the Indian market, is preparing to launch new models one after the other in the coming months. While on one hand the company's most talked about SUV, the new generation Duster, and its 7-seater version, Boreal, are going to be launched next year, on the other hand Renault is also going to launch the facelift versions of its two popular cars, Triber and Kiger, by the end of this year. According to media reports, recently the test mules of both vehicles have been spotted again during testing together, which has confirmed that their launch can be done in the festive season (Festive Season 2025).
Many exterior changes can be clearly seen in the Renault Triber facelift. It will have a new split headlight setup with LED DRLs on top and the headlamp unit below integrated into the front bumper. The new grille has been made even thinner. A large trapezoidal air dam and round LED fog lamps have also been provided on both sides.
The tailgate now looks flatter than before. At the rear, there is a new taillight cluster, and most importantly, the height of the car has been increased so that the third-row occupants can get better headroom. These changes will prove to be especially good for those who use the Triber as a family MPV.
There will be no major mechanical changes in the Renault Kiger, but its styling will definitely be refreshed. Till now, the Triber came only with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, but it is expected that Renault can also offer a turbocharged engine option in the facelifted version. This can give Triber both better driving performance and fuel efficiency.
